Republicans Accuse Joe Biden of Watching Final Episode of Glee
WASHINGTON — Republican Twitter sites smeared Vice President Joe Biden today saying they have proof he watched the series-ending episode of the perky show, Glee.
“Biden shook his pom-poms and sang along to Glee last night,” said @RepublicansRUs.
“Want to know what happened on last show of Glee? Tweet @JoeBiden. He gave a blow by blow,” read @RealAmericansAreRepublicans.
“Big man Biden says he watched March Madness last night. Na ha. He was girly and watched Glee. His e-mails prove it,” posted @GOP4AmericanValues.
While most of the Republican Party’s attacks of late have been focused on presumed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, recent polls showing Biden (72) gaining ground have shifted some GOP attention to the Vice President including House Speaker John Boehner recently telling Fox News that “it is clear Mr. Biden wears a wig and stuffs socks in his crotch.”
“Look. I don’t agree with anything Biden has ever said, but I will defend to the death his right to watch a poofy teeny musical in the privacy of his own bedroom,” said Senator John McCain (78).
Glee is a musical comedy-drama-horror television series that aired for almost 6 years and had its final show last night drawing an audience in the thousands. The series centered around the fictitious William McKinley High School glee club and the ruthless world of choir competitions. The final episode revealed that SPOILER ALERT.
Often referred to as Uncle Joe Biden, the Vice President became famous for his lovable gaffes including being caught on a microphone saying Texas Senator Ted Cruz looks like a “can of smashed assholes.”
Mr. Biden was unavailable for comment to confirm or deny the Glee accusation but a spokesman issued a brief statement: “Don’t Stop Believin”.
